Il 3 volte campione del mondo, Mick Fanning, australiano 34enne è stato attaccato da due squali, mentre stava gareggiando nella prima ‘manche’. Per un attimo Fanning è stato trascinato sott’acqua, ma è riuscito a scampare al primo attacco, poi è stato soccorso.
