I lavori di costruzione per le strutture che ospiteranno le Olimpiadi di Rio 2016 procedono secondo i tempi, nessun ritardo per ora come invece si prevedeva succedesse

La costruzione del villaggio olimpico e paralimpico per i Giochi di Rio del 2016 è terminata all’85% e sarà finita entro la fine dell’anno. Lo rende noto il consorzio costruttore Ilha Pura che ha iniziato i lavori nel 2012. Il villaggio sarà composto da 31 edifici di 17 piani divisi in sette condomini. In totale i 3604 appartamenti con 10.160 stanze avranno la capacità di ospitare 18mila persone. La struttura è situata a fianco del Barra Olympic Park, il cuore dei Giochi. A differenza di quanto accaduto per il mondiale di calcio la consegna segue le tempistiche previste. “Ora ci stiamo concentrando sulla fase finale della preparazione“, ha detto il direttore generare di Ilha Pura, Mauricio Cruz. Le strutture temporanee includono un centro benessere una caffetteria con una capienza di 5mila posti ed una palestra. Al termine dei Giochi il villaggio diventerà una complesso residenziale. “Tutto procede bene – ha spiegato il direttore del villaggio olimpico e paralimpico Mario Cilenti – stiamo lavorando in partnership con Ilha Pura ed abbiamo un team molto qualificato e con esperienze in edizioni passate dei Giochi”.
